English Worship 7.3

“We gather each week for Christian worship and fellowship, following a historic tradition that unites people of diverse backgrounds by the sharing of the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

We are glad you are here, from wherever you are – rejoicing in the hope of our Savior Jesus!

Below, please find our Sermon audio, bible readings and some songs. Set some time aside today if you are able, either alone or with some friends or family, and enter into an intentional time of worship with our God. May He bless you today and may you know that Jesus is always with you! 🙂

 “Thought for the Day”

How can you change the world? Followers of Jesus only have the power of his word to accomplish their task. In our readings this week, we see Jesus send his followers to give their very lives for the faith of other people.

 Bible Readings

Isaiah 66:10-14

【Isa 66:10】“Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her.

【Isa 66:11】For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you will drink deeply and delight in her overflowing abundance.”

【Isa 66:12】For this is what the Lord says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees.

【Isa 66:13】As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”

【Isa 66:14】When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes.

Galatians 6:1-10, 14-18

【Gal 6:1】Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

【Gal 6:3】If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.

【Gal 6:4】Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,

【Gal 6:6】Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

【Gal 6:7】Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

【Gal 6:8】Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

【Gal 6:9】Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

【Gal 6:10】Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

【Gal 6:14】May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which [ Or whom ] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

【Gal 6:15】Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.

【Gal 6:16】Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to [ Or rule and to ] the Israel of God.

Luke 10:1-20

【Luk 10:1】After this the Lord appointed seventy-two [ Some manuscripts seventy; also in verse 17 ] others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.

【Luk 10:2】He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

【Luk 10:3】Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

【Luk 10:4】Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.

【Luk 10:5】“When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’

【Luk 10:6】If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you.

【Luk 10:7】Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.

【Luk 10:8】“When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you.

【Luk 10:9】Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

【Luk 10:10】But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say,

【Luk 10:11】‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’

【Luk 10:12】I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.

【Luk 10:13】“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

【Luk 10:14】But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.

【Luk 10:15】And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. [ That is, the realm of the dead ]

【Luk 10:16】“Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

【Luk 10:17】The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”

【Luk 10:18】He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

【Luk 10:19】I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

【Luk 10:20】However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Spend some time in prayer with our Heavenly Father. He asks us to pray, to talk with Him. Like a father and his child. Bring to Him your problems and your difficult situations. Bring to Him your hopes and desires. Praise Him and give Him thanks for all He’s done.

Share your life with Him,

because He loves you.

Go in peace and serve the Lord!
